Thomas I. Groden Groden, Thomas I. Of West Roxbury, MA, born on July 31, 1916 in Newcastle-under-Lyme, England, died at home on December 6, 2012. Beloved husband of Frances M. Groden (Mundy). Devoted father of Thomas F., Patrick, and Michael Groden, Catherine Miller, and the late Laura Groden. Loving grandfather of Branden, Brianna, Cara, Brent, and Matthew Groden, Alana Miller and Sarah Zonenshine. Brother of John Groden, Winifred Frank, and Mary Quercia, and uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. Proud graduate of South Boston High School and member of the 957 H.A.M. Company, US Army, serving in Europe in WW II. In Thomas' memory a Mass will be celebrated in St. Theresa of Avila Church, West Roxbury, at 11:30 AM on Tuesday, December 11, 2012.
