Theodore "Ted" J. Richardson, age 90, of Londonderry, New Hampshire, died Sunday, January 4, 2015 at Anna Jaques Hospital in Newburyport, MA. He was born on August 23, 1924 in Chester, PA, spent his childhood in Beverly, MA and lived most of his life in Lynn, MA, until moving to Londonderry in 2006. He was the son of the late Ernest and Helena (Hansen) Richardson. He graduated from Beverly High School, and worked as a machinist at GE Riverworks in Lynn until his retirement in 1986. Ted's hobby was designing and making furniture, and he even built his own home in Lynn where he lived for over 50 years. He loved being "Bampie" to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, but his greatest love was his wife, Phyllis, who predeceased him in April 2014. They were married for over 65 years. Theodore is survived by his daughter, Irene Triffitt and her husband, Dana, of Georgetown, MA; his two grandchildren, Ryan Triffitt and his wife, Danielle, of Topsham, ME, and Meghan Ball and her husband, Christopher, of Hoboken, NJ; and his great-grandchildren, Samantha Triffitt and Gavin Ball. Three brothers, Ernest, John, and Robert Richardson also predeceased him. A Memorial Service is being planned and will be announced at a later date.
