Mr. Talu Ram Chawla passed away on December 17, 2021, at the age of 82, in New York city. His demise was untimely, unfortunate, and sudden. He lived a very healthy life and stayed strong until the last minute.

Mr. Chawla was born in Punjab, India on 25th December 1938. He faced several hardships throughout his childhood. As a child, he saw the partition of India and Pakistan, and the loss of his siblings. Despite major setbacks in early life, his strong willpower and tremendous mental strength helped him to continue his education. While studying, he did several part-time jobs to help support his mother and the growing family.

He married Mrs. Asha Chawla on May 21, 1972, and had 3 beautiful children. It was his strong will, and determination that helped all his children get educated and settle down as successful responsible citizens. All three kids are happily married today.

Vikas, the eldest of his children, is married to Sonia and is a manager at Amazon Inc. He lives in Lexington, MA, USA.

Kapil, his younger son is married to Ashnoor, and currently works in London for TCS.

Divya, his youngest daughter, is married to Umesh. After working at reputable companies she is taking time to raise their son in Columbus, OH.

Mr. Chawla was also a grandfather of three beautiful grandchildren, Siyona, Amish, and Viraj.

Mr. T. R. Chawla was a very supportive and friendly human being who enjoyed visiting his family friends. His passion for stocks was shown through his energetic discussions of the stock market every day. He loved watching and playing cricket with his sons, both when they were young and when they were grown-ups. He was a loving father, caring husband, nurturing grandfather, a very supportive and involved friend and will be tremendously missed by all who knew him.
