On Sunday, February 21,2021, Stella Senna, loving mother of seven and grandmother to more, went to be with the Lord at the age of 89. Stella, affectionately referred to as "Fridee" by her grandchildren, was born on May 8th, 1931 in New Bedford, MA to Sophie ( and William Rose. On October 5, 1947, she married the love of her life, Gilbert Senna, whom she shared fifty wonderful years with as husband and wife. Stella was known throughout the community for her strength in her faith and her commitment to her family. To her family, Stella passed on her humor even during difficult times, her love of holidays and full houses and her unfaltering willpower in face of all adversity. She will be remembered whenever an Elvis Presely song plays, when a joke is made to lighten the room and when a person in need of family and shelter finds home in a Senna household. Stella was preceded in death by her husband Gilbert. She is survived by her sister Beverly Warner, and her seven children; Anthony (& Cathy) Senna, Donald Senna, David (& Colleen) Senna, Steven Senna, Joseph (& Dawn) Senna, Theresa (& Dennis) Sol and Thomas (& Annette) Senna. She is also survived by not only her fourteen grandchildren, but dozens of individuals who are blessed to have received her love and support over their lifetime.
