Hediger, Shirley "The Crossing Guard Lady" Hediger (McGrath) Shirley passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Shirley was the devoted wife of the late George Hediger and caring mother to Charlene Hediger and Shirlann (Hediger) Donahue. Loving Nana to Denise & Scott Bickford and Kyle Donahue. Caring mother-in-law to Michael Williams & Edward Donahue and loving sister to Edward McGrath and Frank Pearson of Boston. Shirley enjoyed her job as crossing guard for many years to the children at the Edgerly Center & East Somerville Community School.
