Smith, Robert Paul, 70, died on June 24th, 2015 following a long illness. He is survived by his three loving children: Stephanie Shea Smith of Boston, Robert Paul Smith, Jr. of Brockton, and, Erik Shea Smith of Quincy; lifelong friend Patricia Smith of Brockton; and, wife Karen Smith (née Shea) of Quincy. Predeceased by loving parents Helen Reavey and Melvin Smith. Robert was born in South Boston in 1945 and throughout his life managed and owned many businesses across Massachusetts and in Stowe, Vermont. A man of many talents, Robert greatly enjoyed traditional Irish music, walks at Castle Island and loved animals. Visiting hours at The Robert J. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 30th at 10:00am at Saint Augustine's Chapel in South Boston followed by internment at Mount Benedict Cemetery, West Roxbury.
