Feeney, Robert F., died December 6, 2020.

Born and raised in Dorchester, MA, Bob attended B.C. High then Suffolk University and its' law school, graduating in 1986.

He first was an assistant district attorney in the Suffolk County  District Attorney's  Office then spent the rest of his working life as a civil trial attorney, the last 25 years at a small Plymouth, MA firm with his friend and law partner, Jack Haverty, and their dedicated staff. He enjoyed his work, and considered trying cases to juries in our courts one of the great privileges of his life. His beloved parents, Jim and Rita ("O'Connell") Feeney, and devoted friend and sister in law, Ann, pre-deceased him. Bob leaves behind his brothers/sisters in law Jack, Mike and Nancy, Rich and Jean, Jim and Jean, and Dan and Sharon, his steadfast friends, Tim and Susan Stille, and  Susan Underwood and Paul DerBoghosian, many nephews and nieces about whom he was so proud, as well as many ever loyal O'Connell cousins. He also leaves behind a close group of Dorchester friends with whom he grew up and then grew old. He loved to spend time in Pompano Beach, Florida, and host family holiday gatherings and cookouts for his friends and family especially on July 4th.  He also enjoyed boating and fishing though the stripers in Cape Cod Bay never feared the approach of his boat and its' earnest but inept crew.
