Tyngsboro - Robert T. Belanger, 79, United States Navy Veteran, 53 year resident of Tyngsboro and formerly of Lowell, died peacefully on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at the West Roxbury VA hospital. He was the beloved husband of Aileen Belanger who survives him and now resides in Billerica. He was born on December 29, 1933 in Salem Massachusetts, son of the late George H Belanger and Armancia (Degagne) Belanger. He was also brother of the late Roland Belanger and Georgette (Belanger) Tetreault. He is survived by his son Arthur Belanger of Tyngsboro and daughter Diane (Belanger) Prowker of Eagle River Alaska. In addition, he is survived by three brothers, Philip Belanger of Orlando FL, Armand Belanger of Palmdale CA, Roger Belanger of Beverly Hills CA, four sisters, Jeannette Fraser of Washington NH, Pauline Tilton of Salisbury MA, Marguerite Galvagna of North Andover MA and Lucille Gamache of Lowell MA. Mr. Belanger is also survived by his grandchildren, Jessica Prowker and Eric Prowker both of Eagle River of Alaska and Alexandra Weld of Tyngsboro.
