Eliot, ME - Richard A. Roy, age 64, passed away unexpectedly on May 18, 2013 from complications due to surgery surrounded by his family at the West Roxbury VA Hospital Campus. He is survived by Cindy Festervan, daughters Rebecca Roy, Rachel and husband Brad Martin, their 3 children Olivia, Ethan and Hazel, Nicole and her husband Jeff Main. He was born and raised in Rhode Island with his parents, four brothers and sister. After honorably serving in Vietnam, he studied at Johnson & Wales University in Rhode Island. He has spent his retirement enjoying bass fishing, building stone walls and spending time with his grandchildren. A celebration of his life will be held at the Regatta Banquet and Conference Center located at Eliot Commons, 28 Levesque Drive (Route 236) Eliot, ME on Tuesday, May 28th from 5 pm to 8 pm.
