Richard A. Casey, 84, of Jamaica plain Boston, passed away on June 22, 2022 after a long battle with cancer and Alzheimer's disease.

Richard was born on September 19, 1937 to John and Grace Casey of Jamaica Plain. He is pre-deceased by his brothers John, Jimmy, Greg, Billie, Daniel, and his sister Grace Sullivan (Casey).

Richard was the best automobile mechanic this side of the Mississippi. He was an ambassador to all dogs and an avid golfer. He was a devoted Catholic and a top notch family man. Richard is survived by his two sons, Richard and Matthew, his daughter, Erika, and number 1 brother Leo Casey.

Funeral from the Robert J. Lawler and Crosby Funeral Home 1803 Centre St., West Roxbury, on Tuesday, June 28, at 9:00am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Holy Name Church at 10:00am. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held in the funeral home on Monday, June 27, from 4:00 to 8:00pm. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery, West Roxbury.
