Penelope 'Penny' J. Siemionko (1944-2025)

Penelope Siemionko, age 81, of Canton (formerly Roslindale) MA died on November 18, 2025. Penny was born in Brooklyn, New York to Betty and John Butler. She and Bob married on August 8, 1964, and moved to Roslindale where they raised their children. Penny worked for many years as a bookkeeper in several Boston law firms before retiring. After Bob's passing, she moved to Canton, where she has lived for the past 13 years. Penny enjoyed cheering on the Patriots, going to lunch at the Pleasant Café and Friendly's, and spending time with her friends —especially 'the Golden Girls'—as well as the many friends she made on the commuter rail.

Penny was preceded in death by her husband, Bob; parents, Betty and John; sister, Barbara; brother, Lari; and nephew, Joseph. She is survived by her daughters, Mary Sullivan of Norwood and Kathy Siemionko of West Roxbury; grandson, Sean Sullivan of Hanover; sister, Beth Butler of Philadelphia; her sister, Pam Dale of New Jersey; her nephew, John LaMagna of Martha's Vineyard; her nieces, Elizabeth Harrington, Ann Malleo, and Vicki Nephew of New Jersey; and niece, Corrine Butler of New York, as well as her great-niece Samantha Hurban of Oklahoma; great-nephews, Dante Malleo and Michael Hurban of New Jersey; and great-niece, Ninah Malleo of New Jersey. Penny is also survived by her daughter at heart, Vikki Castellano of Roslindale.

Funeral from The Robert J. Lawler & Crosby Funeral Home, 1803 Centre St. West Roxbury on Sunday November 23, at 10:00 am. A graveside service will be held in The Gardens Cemetery, 670 Baker St. West Roxbury at 10:45 am. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours in the funeral home are Saturday November 22, from 3:00 to 7:00 pm.
