Paul M
Tyman
March 4, 1959 – February 4, 2024
Paul Martin Tyman, 64, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Westford, MA on Sunday, February 4, 2024.
Born March 4, 1959, Paul was raised by his parents Georgina and John (Ray) Tyman in Jamaica Plain, MA. Graduating from Jamaica Plain High School, Paul found his footing in his life-long career at Interactive Data Corporation. IDC is where he met his wife Dianne with whom he settled down with and raised four children.
Paul will be remembered by his family as a generous, caring, animal lover. Although he didn't wear his heart on his sleeve, it is obvious to his loved ones how much he deeply cared for them. He lived for his family rather than for himself, which makes his passing all the more tragic. Only a year into his retirement, he spent most of his free time watching after his golden retriever, Lilah, whom he considered to be one of his kids. His favorite afternoons consisted of the family swinging by the house to catch up over dinner and play with the dog; nothing made him happier than having all of his favorite people under one roof. Paul leaves the world too early, never having been able to achieve his dreams of traveling the country in an RV or owning the horse farm he would always reference. Though he fell short of attaining these dreams, he can rest easy knowing that his family will continue to live on for him, and that so many of their successes would not be possible without everything he sacrificed for them.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his four children; Kelly Tyman of Shirley, MA, John Tyman of Chelmsford, MA, James Tyman of Waltham, MA, and Sydney Tyman of Westford, MA. He is also survived by his brother, Robert Tyman, his wife Hyon and their three children Michael, Robyn, and Rachael, all of Overland Park, KS.
