Nina (Robinson)
Lipovskaya

Nina Lipovskaya of Lynn, MA passed away on January 19, 2022, with her family members by her side. She was 96 years old. Nina was born on November 10, 1925, in Rybinsk, Russia, to Nikolai and Alexandra Robinson. During World War II she served as a nurse on the front line and helped to save the lives of numerous wounded soldiers and officers. For her heroism she was awarded four medals and one order. Two of her brothers, Victor and Vladimir Robinson, died on the fronts of the Second World War. After the war Nina moved to Moscow and received a Bachelor's degree in Education as well as a Master's degree in Speech Therapy from the Pedagogical Institute. She worked as a speech therapist for more than five decades and received many awards for outstanding professional achievements.
Nina married the late Pavel Lipovsky in 1948 and they lived together in Moscow for forty six years. Nina was predeceased by her loving husband in 1994. In March of 2004 Nina moved to join her family in the USA. She is survived by her son Igor, grandsons Ilya, Alex, and Daniel, and great-grandson Joshua. Nina was a loving, warm, generous, and very devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, who was a central figure in the lives of her entire family. She worked tirelessly and selflessly to help others and will be missed dearly.
The funeral services were held privately and only close family members were present. The burial took place at the JCC of Chelsea Cemetery in Danvers, MA (16 Buxton Road, Danvers, MA).
