Natalie Franklin, 85 years of age, homemaker of Everett MA (originally from Chelsea), passed after a brief illness surrounded by her family, Monday, April 21, 2014. Daughter of Joseph and Ida (Consentino) Parise (both deceased). Loving mother of Ronald Lee (deceased), Christine Robertson, and Wayne Franklin. Loving and devoted grandmother to Brandie Ann (Robertson) Gaffney and Ashley Nicole Franklin, great grandmother to Elyse Gaffney, Evan Gaffney, and Justin (Franklin) Zajac. Loving mother in law to Stephen D. Robertson, Donna Smith and grandmother in law to Robert Gaffney. Loving and devoted sister of Joseph Paris of California, John Paris(deceased), Lucille McNeil (deceased), Josephine Kral of California (deceased) , Theresa Barboza (deceased) , Mary (deceased). Also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews. Natalie's celebration of life service is scheduled for Saturday, May 10, 2014 at 11:00 AM, at the Goddard Chapel, 3 The Green, Tufts University, Medford Campus. Her request is that everyone wear bright happy colors (no black) to celebrate her life. Her favorite color is blue. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Tufts Medical Center Critical Care Unit 800 Washington Street, Boston MA 02111, Boston VNA Hospice, or Mystic Valley Elder Services. At Natalie's request burial will be private.
