Nancy Jane Ago age 89 passed away peacefully at Autumn Lake nursing home, Ocean View NJ. Nancy was born to Mary Ellen Connelly and John Henry Agi at Emerson Hospital in Boston on May 26, 1936.

Her early years were spent on Tremont Street Mission Hill. She attended Mission High School graduating as Salutatorian of her class.

After graduation, Nancy entered the School Sisters of Notre Dame and following her vocation for 17 years.

She spent her remaining years in Baltimore and Annapolis Maryland. Nancy graduated from the College of Notre Dame with a Master's Degree in Biology and Chemistry, later she received a scholarship from St Charles Seminary in Pennsylvania where she received her Master's degree.

Nancy is preceded by her sisters: Mary Ago (Ben Hoban) Helen Ago (Leo Moreau) Rose Ago (John Moran) Alisce Ago.

Nancy had many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

Nancy was a gifted with a beautiful singing voice, which she shared generously with family and friends. She sang in Church and school Choirs.

After graduation from high school Nancy entered the School Sisters of Notre Dame where she was devoted to her vocations for 17 years. After leaving the sisters Nancy continued her education at St Charles Seminary where she received her Masters Degree. Nancy moved to Annapolis Md where she taught Biology at St Mary's Academy. Nancy Retired from St Mary's Academy, Nancy sang with the Church Choir and many family weddings and functions.

Visiting hours in The Basilica of Our Lady of Perpetual Help (Mission Church) 1545 Tremont St. Mission Hill on Monday May 4, from 8:30 am to 10:00 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Interment Mt. Benedict Cemetery.
