Miranda Shkurti, 65, of Roslindale passed away peacefully at home on July 23 after a difficult battle with biliary cancer.

A native of Berat, Albania, Miranda immigrated to the US to secure a brighter future for her children.

She was a gentle and generous soul who loved people and loved experiencing life - from the simple pleasures to the grand adventures.

Her loving presence will be deeply missed by her beloved husband Lili Shkurti, her children Marinela, Jorgji and Jonida Shkurti and her much treasured grandchildren Aleksia, Ilia and Beatrice.

Miranda also leaves behind her two brothers Thanas and Romeo and sister Luiza, many nieces and nephews and a large circle of friends.

Visiting hours will be held in the Robert J. Lawler and Crosby Funeral Home 1803 Centre St., West Roxbury, on Saturday July 25th from 9:30AM to 11:30AM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial to follow after at Mt. Benedict Cemetery.
