Mikki (Miriam) Du Pont, 89 yrs. old of Brighton, MA peacefully left this earth July 18th, 8pm. Born in Brooklyn, NY January 13, 1927 to Francis (Bodner) and Irving Dreizen, and was sister to Isaac and Jack. At the age of 14 she moved to Boston to live with her mother and father, Jack Getman. She married Norman J. Du Pont and was mother to Iris (64) , Yvonne (deceased), Leonard (60) and Gregory (deceased). She leaves behind Iris, Iris's husband Gerard and granddaughter Siri; Leonard, Leonard's wife Maureen and their son, Isaac, and her grandson Justin Towle (Yvonne's son), his wife Rhonda and daughter Jillian. She is also survived by her very close sister-in-law Marina (wife of Jack) and her extremely loved nieces and nephews of her late brother Jack Getman, and her late sister Bebe Carbone. She was the glue that kept the family together, a mother-like figure for so many and people could always depend on her to tell it like it was. Mikki will be cremated and per her insistence a BBQ Memorial will be September 17th.
