Micheal Watkins, 71, also known as "Uncle Mike" to many, was born on July 15, 1954. A proud and honorable Navy veteran, he lived a life defined by service, strength, and loyalty. On September 18, 2025, at 4 p.m., Micheal took his final breath at Hope Health in Rhode Island, surrounded by the love of those who meant the most to him.

Micheal's journey began when he served two tours in the Navy from 1973-1983.  Upon his honorable discharge he obtained his CDL License, marking the start to a dedicated and varied career.  He started his professional path with Gorden's trucking, where his commitment and drive left a lasting impact.  After his time there, Micheal turned his attention to keeping our roads safe, working tirelessly with his beloved dog Tobey to plow snow with care and precision.  Ultimately, his entrepreneurial spirit shone through when he established Uncle Mike's Mobile Auto Detailing, where his passion and talent truly flourished.

In his last days, even when it became difficult to speak, Micheal still made sure his voice was heard, because that was who he was. Micheal was straightforward and honest; he never sugar-coated the truth. Yet behind his tough exterior was a heart as soft as a pillow, and once you knew him, you discovered his kindness, his loyalty, and his willingness to be there whenever you needed him. He was a man of his word, dependable and steady, someone you could always count on.

Micheal is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Senora Watkins.  He is survived by his sister, Therese Watkins, his brother David Watkins and his son, Micheal

Watkins. He leaves behind his beloved pets, Toby, Bella and Larry, who were like his children and constant companions. They went everywhere with him and brought him endless joy. Micheal is also fondly remembered by friends  and neighbors, particularly Dwayne Durham, Daunte Pean and Raymond Ivey, who became like family to him over the years.

His strength, honesty and compassion left a lasting mark on everyone around him. He will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday October 1, from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon. A prayer service will be held in the funeral home at 12:00 noon.

A graveside service with military honors will be held in The Massachusetts National Cemetery, Connery Ave. Bourne, MA at 2:00 pm. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
