Loving mother of Craig McKnight and Arden Thompson of West Roxbury, Sheila McKnight of West Roxbury, Linda Flynn of Pembroke, Gail and James Ferris of Walpole and Mary and Timothy Smith of Needham. Loving grandmother of Daniel, Jill, James W., Laura, John, Stephen and Michael. Devoted sister of Claire and Thomas Devine of Jamaica Plain, Dorothy Fenick of Braintree and the late Anne Harrington. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Mary was a retired teacher for the Boston Public Schools. Funeral from the Robert J. Lawler and Crosby Funeral Home 1803 Centre St. West Roxbury on Monday, July 6th at 9:00am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Theresa of Avila Church at 10:00am.
