Drake, Mary (Dacey) of Holy Name Parish in West Roxbury, June 26, 2017, in her 100th year. Devoted wife of the late Francis R. Drake, Boston firefighter and WW II Navy SeaBee. Mary was the beloved mother of Elizabeth F. Bernner (the late David Bernner) of West Roxbury, Richard F. Drake (Patricia Dorfman) of New York, Anne Louise, Mary Ellen and Barbara Drake-Hoff (Ned Hoff) of West Roxbury, and Pam Drake-Manning (Richard Manning) of Marshfield. She was the much loved grandmother of Virginia Kennedy, Brian Bernner, and Daniel Hoff and great grandmother of Taylor and Shannon Kennedy. Mary was the last surviving child of Daniel Patrick and Elizabeth (Frahill) Dacey of St. Anthony's Parish in Allston. She was the best friend of her older sister, Peggy Dacey, her only brother Dan Dacey and younger sister Anna Halloran. She was the heart and soul of her family. We thank God for blessing us with her joyful life and the many wonderful memories this gentle, kind-hearted and generous women has left us. Thank you, Momma.
