Gillis --- Mary M. (Connor) Gillis of Roslindale, September 5, 2023. Beloved wife of the late George V. Gillis. Loving mother of Michael Gillis and his wife Annemarie of Roslindale, Donna and her husband Christopher Sullivan of Auburn, Anne and her husband Edward Errasti of Duxbury, John Gillis and his wife Deborah of West Roxbury and Paul Gillis and his wife Eileen of Walpole. Cherished "Ma" of Lisa, Christine, Gregory, Nicholas, Kayla, Shawn, Kellie, Ryan, Kyle, Delaney, Brendan, Megan, Christopher and Timothy, her great grandchildren Noah and Sarah. Devoted sister of Elizabeth Hegarty and the late Rev. John Connor C. Ss. R. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Mary was born and grew up in Mission Hill and raised her family in Roslindale. She was an active member of Holy Name Parish as a volunteer of many of the parish groups.

Funeral from the Robert J. Lawler and Crosby Funeral Home 1803 Centre St. West Roxbury, on Monday, September 11, at 9:00am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Holy Name Church at 10:00am. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours in the funeral home on Sunday, Sept 10, from 1:00 to 4:00pm. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
