Kearns, Mary Frances, (Cheever), of Roslindale, formerly, of Forest Hills, October 1, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Joseph J. Kearns. Loving mother of Helen Cadwallader and her husband Rob of Ohio, Joseph J. Kearns, Jr. and his wife Christine of Shrewsbury, Coleen Keegan and her husband Christopher of Stoughton, David Kearns of Roslindale, and Daniel Kearns of Roslindale. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Lovin sister of Edward Cheever his late wife Bambi, Johanna McCafferty and her late husband Paschal, Dorothy Fagen and her husband Bruce, and the late James Cheever and his wife Mary, John Cheever, Margaret Julius, Catherine Litchfield and her husband George, Marion Gillis and her husband Robert, Blanche Scott and her husband Ronald, Thomas Cheever and his wife Janice. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Mary was a retired nurse. Graduate of St. Andrew's School, Forest Hills. Active parishioner of Sacred Heart Church, Roslindale.
Funeral from The Robert J. Lawler & Crosby Funeral Home, 1803 Centre St. West Roxbury on Thursday October 5, at 10:30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in The Sacred Heart Church, 169 Cummins Highway, Roslindale at 11:00 am. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours in the funeral home Thursday morning from 9:00 to 10:30 am. Interment Mt. Benedict Cemetery.
