Mary T. Castellano (nee Gagliardi), 87, of Bellport, NY, passed away on May 1st, 2015. Devoted wife of the late Frank X. Castellano. Beloved mother of CAPT Frank X. Castellano III, USN (Lisa), Dr. Adelaide J. Evans (Marc), and Maria Castellano-Usery (Terence). Cherished grandmother of Amanda, Kathleen, Hayley, and Ella. Adored aunt of Frank J. Siegel (Betty). Dear sister of Antoinette Cline, Nancy Lancellotti, and the late Anthony Gagliardi. Loved by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. A dedicated volunteer for Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, Mary was known for her loving heart, her kind spirit, and her strong faith. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Visiting for Mrs. Castellano will be held on Friday, May 8th, from 2-4pm & from 7-9pm at the Ruland Funeral Home. On Saturday, May 9th, a Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel RC Church (time pending). Entombment to follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Coram, NY. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to be made to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish Outreach (495 N. Ocean Ave, Patchogue, NY 11772) or your local food bank.
