MATTHEWS Marie E., (Calfani) of Roslindale passed away May 5th, 2017. Survived by sisters Ann Creighton and husband James of Norwood, Elizabeth Tabranian of Roslindale, and deceased brother Francis Calfani. Former wife of John Matthews, Sr. Mother of the late James E. Matthews, and daughter Susan Matthews, all of Jamaica Plain, son John Matthews, Jr., wife Donna, and grandchildren, John James Matthews and Ashley Rose Matthews of Taunton, and nieces and nephews and close friends. Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. John's Chrysostom Church, 470 Washington St., West Roxbury, MA. Celebration of Life following Mass in Parish Hall.
