West Roxbury- Marie Ann Fox's love of life didn't come to an end with her death. Marie passed away on April 27, 2022 at the age of 91, after a courageous battle with heart failure, surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honour her legacy by living their lives to the fullest.

Marie was predeceased by her parents John and Marie (Kelliher) Fox. She was the sister of the deceased John J. Fox, Jr., Charles J. Fox, Sr. & his living wife Janice (Judge) Fox. Aunt of

Mary-Therese Fox, Charles Fox, Jr., and Paul Fox. Grand-Aunt to Hallie, McKenzie, Patrice and Blaire Fox.

Marie was a graduate of Boston Teacher's College in 1952 with a Master's in Education. For many years she taught as a first grade teacher in the Newton Public school system and was twice honoured for her outstanding teaching abilities-she made sure that every child she had in her classroom, could read. Former Prefect of Holy Name Church Sodality and Co-Organizer of The Saint Theresa's Church Travel Program.

Marie has been the Chairperson of The Boston Teachers College/UMass Boston Scholarship Fund. Through her creation and leadership of the fund over One Million Dollars has been raised .
