Maria Grijalva De Zermeño, born in Guatemala on August 25, 1949, mother of 7 children and grandmother of 21 grandchildren, and great-grandmother of 12.  She was a remarkable woman who touched the lives of many.  She became a widow in May 2020 after 58 years of devoted companionship with her beloved husband Deciderio Zermeño, her nurturing spirit also made her a cherished mother, wife, sister, auntie, grandmother.

Her journey was marked by unwavering love and care, leaving an indelible mark on her family and friends. Despite the challenges presented by Alzheimer's and Dementia in her final year, Maria's strength and the love of her family remained constant. She passed away peacefully on August 14 at 9:30 P.M. at Accent Care, 579 Randolph Avenue, Milton, MA 02186.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects and celebrate Maria's life at her funeral, which will take place on Tuesday August 22, at 11:00 am at the Robert J. Lawler & Crosby Funeral Home, 1803 Centre Street, West Roxbury, MA 02132. Visiting hours in the funeral home on Monday August 21, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Interment St. Michael Cemetery.
