Margaret "Peggy" (Heidke) Redmond, 80, of East Sandwich, MA and formerly of Dedham, MA, passed away Monday April 3, 2023, from a sudden illness. Peggy, born March 22, 1943, in Boston, MA, was the daughter of the late Theodore Heidke and Margaret (Sullivan) Heidke, of Jamaica Plain, MA.

Peggy attended Saint Thomas Aquinas Parish and school in Jamaica Plain, MA.

Peggy spent decades working in the financial sector, the last with Eaton Vance Corp., for nearly 30 years prior to retirement at age 72. She was proud to make it to the "top row".

Peggy's love for Cape Cod moved her from Dedham, MA to Sandwich, MA in 2005 and she was happiest when her grandchildren would come over for long stays, most especially Chloe.

She loved her children and adored her grandchildren. She is survived by her children; Leslie Nolan of Sagamore Beach, MA, John Redmond and his wife Gwen of Warwick, RI, William Redmond of Sagamore Beach, and her grandchildren; Ali, Liam, and Chloe. She is also survived by her sister Mary (Heidke) Lloyd of Plymouth, MA. Peggy is predeceased by her son James Redmond.

In lieu of flowers, Peggy would most appreciate supporting an organization where she took part in and was proud to support for decades, your local Al-Anon Family Groups. Services will be private.
