Obituary

Brophey, Margaret Mary (Hailer) of Pepperell, originally of Boston, April 15, 2023.

Beloved wife for over 25 years to the love of her life and best friend, the late Richard Paul Brophey.

Devoted and proud mother of Victoria Brophey George and her husband Michael. Adoring grandmother of Madeleine Mary and Savannah Margaret George.

Dedicated daughter of the late Frederick and Mary Hailer.

Loving sister to John, Fred, George, Richard, and the late Robert Hailer, and Joan Lemire, Elizabeth Ross, Mary Norkum, and Christine Baker.

Loving sister-in-law to Lorraine Mitchell.

Also survived by many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends.

Margaret's loyalty, passion, brightness, sense of humor, infectious laugh, and incredible capacity to love will be missed by the many who loved her. In her memory and to celebrate her life, we request that everyone wear bright and colorful clothing to her funeral.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours in the Robert J. Lawler and Crosby Funeral Home, 1803 Centre St. West Roxbury, on Wednesday, April 19, from 4:00 to 8:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Theresa of Avila Church, 2078 Centre St. West Roxbury, on Thursday, April 20, at 10:00am.
