Souza, Manuel E. Jr., born September 9, 1953 in Acushnet, MA to Manuel and Antoinette Souza, passed away, unexpectedly, at his home in New Bedford, MA on October 6, 2011 after a short battle with liver cancer. His love and passions were cooking, rock and roll music and his friends. Manuel was preceded in death by his mother and sister Robin Lee. He is survived by his father; sisters Lorna-Jean Souza, Kellie Silveira and sisters-in-law Theresa Souza and Judy Souza; brothers Eric, Scott, Steven, Jeffrey, and Kyle along with several nieces and nephews. Also surviving Manuel are many dear friends who are just like family to him. A rock and roll celebration of his life will take place on Sunday November 27, 2011 at 4:00 PM at the VFW Fort Phoenix Post 2892, 109 Middle Street, Fairhaven, MA 02719.
