Lucilla Stevenson-Cruse June 19, 1937 - September10, 2014. Lucilla Stevenson-Cruse was born in Lincoln County, Kentucky to the late Penny Ann Andrews and James Stevenson. She married George E. Cruse on March 18, 1959. Our mother was well loved, well respected; she had a warm and giving heart, slow to anger and always a LADY. Although the loss of her presence is grieved, she is remembered by her six children from Boston, MA; Gregory E. Cruse, Stacy Cruse-Burgess and her husband Anthony Burgess, Richard K. Cruse and his wife Gina Cruse, Jeffery L. Cruse, Angela Cruse, and Carolyn Cruse. Nine grandchildren; Tiffany Cruse-Wade, Brittney Cruse, Brianna Cruse, Tianna Cruse, Jeffrey Burgess, Steven Burgess, Melissa Guerero, Michael Cruse and Eric Cruse, one great-grandson; Tayden Wade. Mom also held a special place in her heart for her stepson Lawrence E. Butler and his wife Diane Butler of Henderson, Kentucky, along with his four children and grandchildren. She leaves behind two sisters; Jennie Harris, and Charlie Lee Marshall of Danville Kentucky and one brother; Joseph Stevenson of Kentucky and a host of nieces, nephews, and many friends. We would love to thank everyone for their respect, kindness, and love of our mother, and grandmother at this time.
