Man's life here on earth is limited. It is like a vapor that appears for a little while and then disappears.
Lubny Desamours was born on 20 May 1955 in Cerca-La-Source, a district of the Centre Department of which Hinche is the capital. He passed away at his private residence on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at the age of 69. Our dear departed was one of 7 siblings including: Marie-Oleine Desamours, the eldest, the deceased Lubny Desamours the youngest, Raymond A. Desamours the third, François Desamours the fourth deceased, Rose-Mona Desamours Salomon the fifth, Suzelle Desamours Jean the sixth and Bismarck Desamours the youngest, from the works of the deceased Philomena Emmanuel and Rosemond Desamours.
Lubny Desamours received his primary education at the National School of Cerca-la- Hinche and the Antênor Firmin High School in Port-au-Prince from 1971 to 1977. He enlisted in the Armed Forces of Haiti in 1980 where he worked as a nurse at the military hospital in Port-au-Prince. He emigrated to the United States of America in March 1983. Being a lover of intellectual training, he studied pharmacy to become a pharmacist. He liked working as a taxi driver instead of a pharmacist. He was also a very smart
The deceased is survived by two sons: Adless and Huhamson Desamours and grandchildren: January-Adeline, Nayima and Kayima Desamours. Today, this Sunday, March 10, 2024, we have all come to say a final farewell to our late Lubny Desamours who lived with us and among us for many happy or unfortunate years. He fell ill in 2023. He struggled hard to fight the disease that weakened him physically and emotionally, but he could not overcome it. He was overwhelmed by grief and then death on Saturday, February 24, 2024. We are assured that he fell asleep in the peace of the Lord. Our hearts are deeply saddened by his departure. But let us repeat, as Job and psalmist David, did: "The Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of
May his body rest in peace, for Jesus will call it back to life, to the resurrection, when he comes back because he believed in him. Indeed, there is not too great a difference between death and sleep if it is only a matter of duration. Sleep is a short-lived death. And death is a long sleep. Only Jesus, the great giver of life, will be able to awaken him from this deep sleep. For We are all doomed to the grave. And Jesus alone has the keys.
Let the earth be light to him.
