Campbell --- Lawrence J. Jr., age 75, of West Roxbury, after a 2 year battle with lymphoma, died at home with his family by his side, August 27, 2013. Beloved husband of 51 years to Bridget (McGuire) Campbell. Loving father of Susan and her husband Peter Contostavlos of Chantilly, Virginia. Cherished grandpa of Ava and Will. Devoted brother of Patricia Ruta of New Mexico. Also survived by his brother-in laws, sister-in-laws and many nieces, nephews and cousins both here and in Ireland. A private family memorial will be held over the Labor Day weekend. Larry was a Navy veteran, Korea and a graduate of Northeastern University. He was a Systems Analyst for 32 years for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Dept. of Revenue. Larry was an avid reader and loved to golf and travel. Larry's family would like to thank the staff at Old Colony Hospice who have been most helpful.
