Obituary

KIM TUYET NGUYEN, 66, of Hyde Park, peacefully passed away on Monday at 7:02 pm, September 23, 2024.  Kim was born on December 27, 1958, in Binh hoa, Gia Dinh, Vietnam, to Chien Nguyen and Cay Nguyen, and was one of six siblings.

Kim went to Le Van Duyet high school and certified in accounting and pharmacy technician in Saigon.  Kim worked as an accountant, a pharmacy technician and a nails designer.  Kim was a  compassionate person.  She was willing to help those in need, always sharing what she could.  She had a passion for traveling and loved the nature.  She completed walking the entire Jordan Pond trail in Acadia National Park—only 3.5 miles, but it was a significant accomplishment given her frail health.  She was deeply devoted to her family, especially in her support for her nephew, An Nguyen, when he first came to the US.  Kim was known for her kindness, culinary skills, and commitment to volunteering at the Vietnam Temple in Roslindale.

After battling Takayasu for years, Kim peacefully passed away on September 23th, 2024.  She is survived by her sisters, Bieu Nguyen, Dieu Nguyen, and Lien Nguyen; her brother, Hiep Nguyen; and her nephews, Norman Nguyen and Kevin Nguyen.  Kim will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her.
