Karen D. Singleton (Braithwaite) age 64, of Allston, MA, formerly of Brookline, MA. passed away on Friday December 27, 2019.  Born in San Fernando, Trinidad and Tobago was the loving daughter of late Jack C. Braithwaite and Germaine L. Braithwaite.  Karen graduated from Brookline High School in 1973 and Lincoln University in 1977.  She continued her education at Radcliffe College of Cambridge.

Karen was ambitious, career-oriented and always strived for success.   She was employed with General Electric for several years where she held several positions at different times.  Prior to her passing she was a home maker and was involved with several church organizations including Trinity and Old South Churches.

She was the loving sister of Richard Emanuel and late Marva B. Freeman.  She was survived by her daughter Patricia Pirogova and son Justin J. Singleton.  Cherished aunt of Melissa J. Freeman-Brown, Stacy Duncan, and Jermaine Emanuel along with several other nieces and nephews.

Karen enjoyed spending time with family , loved to sing and listen to music.
