Julie A. O'Connor-Viera, 68, of West Roxbury, MA passed away at home on November 5, 2023. Born on May 31, 1955, in Mission Hill to the late John J. and Mildred (MacDougall) O'Connor. Julie was a 1973 graduate of Ursuline Academy and graduated from Boston College, class of 1977.

Beloved wife of Michael A. Viera. Devoted mother of Caitlin O'Connor-Viera, Meaghan O'Connor-Viera, and Shelagh Rolo and her husband Mike. Loving sister of Patricia Moynihan and Kathleen (Mark) Davis. Sister-In-Law of Edward (Susan) Viera and Janet (Albert) Cirone. Cherished aunt of Mark, Brian, Kayla, Connor, Jack (Gina), and Kristi. Pre-deceased by her brother-in-law Bryan Moynihan.

Julie loved being with her family. She traveled extensively throughout the years with her husband Michael. Julie and Michael were together for 52 years – their love and devotion to each other was unmatched. Julie enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her three daughters. She was an amazing mother and was always supportive, nurturing, and kind. She loved her sisters Patty and Kathy and cherished all of the memories they shared over the years. She could always be found playing the piano at family gatherings growing up. Julie loved all of the family dogs, especially her own dog, Maggie, who will miss all the plain donuts the two shared. She was an avid knitter and enjoyed spending time with her knitting group. We will fondly remember her quick wit and wonderful sense of humor. She knew every answer to Jeopardy, always impressing her family with all of her knowledge. Julie will be greatly missed, and we will be forever grateful for the life we had with her.
