PEZZELLA, JULIA F. (BURNS) of Jamaica Plain entered into Eternal Life on October 24, 2008. Beloved wife of the late Henry A. Pezzella. Julia was born in Boston, the daughter of the late John and Blanche Burns (McCallum). Julia is survived by her three adoring children, Audrey Fannon of West Roxbury (Edward), Paula Hildreth of West Roxbury (Andrew) and Stephen Pezzella of Franklin (Dianna). Also survived by her ten Grandchildren, Pamela, Allyson, Kristen, Ted, Jason, Gregory, Jessica, Julia, Patrick and Katheryne and two Great Grandsons, Anthony and Justin. Julia was the sister of Regina Schmitt of Woburn and the late Mary Winn of New Jersey. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Anne Beatrice of Lexington and loving cousins Anna Ryan of Brighton, Agnes Thornton of Reading, and Mary Kukstis of Roslindale as well as many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors. Julia was a kind and generous woman who enjoyed sewing, crocheting, shopping, Music and family gatherings. Her legacy to her family is that she taught us to take care of each other and to be kind and to stay close to Jesus. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours to be held at the Robert J. Lawler & Crosby Funeral Home at 1803 Centre Street in West Roxbury on Tuesday, October 28, 2008, 3:00 - 9:00 PM. Funeral at 9:00 AM at the Lawler & Crosby Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 29, 2008 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 97 South Street, Jamaica Plain. Julia's family would like to extend their most sincere thank you to the staff of the Telemetry Unit, the Emergency Department and the ICU at Faulkner Hospital, The Boston Center, the Deutches Altenheim, the Harvard Vanguard Complex Cardiac Program and Americare Home Care. In lieu of flowers, the family would suggest donations be made in her memory to the Monastery of Saint Clare, 920 Centre Street, Jamaica Plain or to the St. Jude's Hospital for Children, Memphis Tennessee.
