Medeiros, Joseph J. of Wareham, formerly of Berkley, MA, February 26, 2013. Beloved husband of Lucie M. Plant. Father of Robin Quinn of Taunton, and the late Kevin Medeiros. He was the brother of Atty. Alan Medeiros of Dighton, Louise Foster of Fernandina Beach, FL, Elizabeth Champagne of Fall River and Celeste Medeiros of Berkley. He was also the brother of the late Richard Medeiros, Frances Medeiros, Edward Medeiros and Doris Sousa. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, grand nephews and grand nieces. He was a Building and Sanitation Inspector for Berkley, MA. Owner of Colonial Pine Grove Furniture, making custom furniture. He was a Vietnam War Marine Corp Veteran, Special Forces. He was awarded the Purple Heart, Presidential Unit Citation Ribbon, and the Vietnam Gallantry Cross Medal. Above all he enjoyed offshore fishing and was a very proficient boater. He was a past Commander of the Coast Guard Auxiliary of Fairhaven. Member of the Coast Guard Aux. for over 30 years. He was Generous with both his time and Knowledge to all who asked.
