Devoted father of Kerry Nero and her husband, David, of West Roxbury and Kevin Gilligan and his wife, Annette (Polcino) of Massapequa, NY. Amazing Papa to Joseph and Emma Nero and Avery and Joseph Gilligan. Loving brother of Claire Sheppeck of Scituate, Brian Gilligan of Dennis and Marco Island and the late John Gilligan. Cherished son of the late Lillian Gilligan. Funeral from the Robert J. Lawler and Crosby Funeral Home 1803 Centre St., West Roxbury, on Friday March 8, at 9:00am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Holy Name Church at 10:00am. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, from 3:00 to 8:00pm. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
