Jose Antonio Rosario of Boston, MA, passed away on August 3, 2022. Beloved son of Carmen Ortiz and the late Felix Rosario. Devoted father of Xavier Rosario, Stephanie Rosario, and Ezra Rosario. Loving brother of Maria Rosario, Raymond Rosario, Jacqueline Rosario, Jacqueline Rosario Ortiz, and Marilyn Rosario. Also survived by grandchildren Jayden, Jadiel, Ismael, Noah, Zuriel, and Catalina and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Jose was the oldest of six children and known for his free spirit, love for fishing, music, dancing, and Boston sports teams. Also an avid writer, Jose found most comfort in art. He was a talented painter, and writing poetry was therapeutic for him. He will be missed but lives on through his art and in the memories and hearts of those who loved him.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours in the Robert J. Lawler & Crosby Funeral Home, 1803 Centre Street, West Roxbury, MA, on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, from 4:30 PM – 8PM. Graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 18, at 11:30 AM at Fairview Cemetery, 45 Fairview Ave, Boston.
