Remembering Johnny R. Rivera

Johnny R. Rivera, 51, passed away in his sleep at home, on saturday, August 29, 2020 in Dorchester, MA. He was born June 7, 1969 to Nilda Soto and Jose R. Rivera.

Survivors include his 4 children: Johnny R. Rivera of Pennsylvania, PA,  Nilda L. Rivera of New Bedford, MA, Jose R. Rivera of Randolph, MA and Clifford. 9 grandchildren; Daly, Christopher, Yanelis, Edlianys, David, Daniel, Derick, Gabriel, Alaysia, and Cristynn.  2 sisters; Mayra Rivera and Linette Soto and 1 brother, Nelson Soto of Dorchester, Ma. As well as many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Anselma Guzman and Eleutenia Rivera of Coamo, Puerto Rico; and his brother Jose R. Rivera and his son Clifton Jr.

A time of gathering will be held on Wednesday, September 2 from 4:00 until 7:00pm at the: Robert J. Lawler & Crosby Funeral Home, 1803 Centre St. West Roxbury, MA. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2020 in the funeral home at 10:00 am. Burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery.  Online Condolences can be left on Johnny R.
