In Loving Memory John "Jack" Thomas Grant of Holbrook, passed away at the age of 65, on May 3, 2016 at VA Hospital in Brockton, Ma. John was born in Boston, Ma. On January 10, 1951. John is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years Jeanne Bellew Grant. Loving father to Dina Bellew Hartsgrove, Tracie Grant Dirksmeier, Dianne Grant Chisholm, and Laura Grant Hannon. Devoted son of Zelda K. Grant and the late Robert F. Grant. Loyal brother to Robert, Frederick, James, Patrick, Stephen, Donna Ponds, and Carol Duclous. Affectionate grandfather of 14 and gentle great-grandfather of 1, Best friend to Robert Bellew, Many nieces, nephews, brother and sister-in-laws. He entered the U.S. Army where he proudly served his country in Vietnam. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. John was a "mister fix it" who truly was a "Jack" of all trades. From building a house to rebuilding an engine, he was always busy with a project. John was a strong silent man who cared, protected, and loved his family dearly. A Military Burial at Bourne National Cemetery will be held on Tuesday May 10, 2016 at 1:30 p.m., followed by a celebration of his life at Randolph VFW 10 Highland Avenue Randolph, MA 02368 at 3:30 p.m.
