Through an ice cream shop window, John Scott Rodeghiero's life unfolds, A sundae symphony, his story told. Each moment a flavor, rich and sweet, In the parlors of memories, his essence we greet.

Starting with a scoop of humble delight, Born May 7th, 1942, in Lockport's pure light. Parents, Tom and Jane, a foundational cone, Sisters Alice Roskens and Faye Ehm, a family's love shown.

Beloved Illini alum, a dish of Champaign-Urbana's finest blend, A taste of knowledge, his brilliant mind rich transcend.
A self-made businessman, success with depositions came with grace, Masterful tales of storytelling, a savory embrace.

His flavor, "Renaissance Ripple", a savant so grand, Charm and wit swirled, a magical hand. Literary sprinkles, words spun with glee, His personality, a unique, quirky concoction, vibrant and free.

A shared passion for sports, a bond so complete.

A dedicated "Meals on Wheels" volunteer, with kindness quite profound, Countless bonds of friendship, unconditional toppings abound. A deep commitment to faith, a heavenly embrace, Mentorship's sweet swirl, Biblical grace interlace.

From vanilla beginnings to a ripple of zest, A sprinkle of joy in every quest.

In the ice cream parlor of remembrances so tender, Scott's chocolate ripple life, a flavor forever.

In honor of Scott's life, a service on August 3rd  at 11:00 am followed by an ice cream social (The Fellowship, 604 Foundry Street, South Easton, MA) we'll abide,
