John H. Marshall, 64 BUXTON - John Hay Marshall, 64, formerly of Cape Elizabeth, Bar Mills, and Saco, died March 19, 2013 at Boston VA Hospital in West Roxbury, MA. He was born in Portland, ME, a son of Dr. Donald Forbes Marshall and Helene Evelyn Johnson. He served in the Army from 1970 to 1973 as a cook and company clerk, stationed at Fort Dix, NJ; the Army Reserve as a company clerk in Saco, ME; and the Navy as a cook from 1981 to 1986, stationed at the Naval Base San Diego, CA. He was preceded in death by his youngest son, Michael Marshall who died in 2010. Survived by his partner, Pamela Thornton of Andover, MA; daughters, Helene Croteau of Galion, OH and Erica Goodwin of Lisbon, ME; sons, John Marshall II of New Orleans, LA and Christopher Marshall of South Portland, ME; granddaughters, Kate Croteau, Kayelee Marshall, and Chloe Marshall; sisters, Laurie Cushman of Baltimore, MD and Bonnie Tompkins of Madison, WI; brother, James Marshall of Portland, ME; and several nieces and nephews.
