James M. Wright, of West Roxbury, March 25, 2022.  Beloved husband of Karen (Verrochi) Wright.  Loving father of Bridget Rose, step father to Elizabeth and Emily Verrochi.  Proud grandfather of Anthony, Giuliana, Peter and Chanel.  Devoted brother of Patricia Bardsley and her husband David of Brockton, John Wright of Brockton, and the late Maureen Wright of Quincy.  Uncle to Michelle Henry, David Bardsley, and Danielle Bardsley, and many grand nieces and nephews.

Jimmy was known for telling everyone about Bridget's latest accomplishments and talking about our adventures on vacations.  He was extremely proud that she attended the Woodward School and studied Latin.  He really enjoyed deciding with Bridget where to travel to next and what excursions to pick on the next cruise.  He adored having his grandson Anthony follow him around as his helper, and always made sure that he had tools or a measuring tape.

He was known around campus as "the pirate" because he often wore a bandana during all of his years working at the University of Massachusetts Boston.  He was also a long time employee of the Carney Hospital.

Visiting hours on Wednesday March 30, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm in The Robert J. Lawler & Crosby Funeral Home, 1803 Centre St. West Roxbury. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Funeral services and interment will be private.
