Ryan, James J. 100, died on Saturday, February 2, 2008, at his home in Roslindale that he shared for more than 50 years with his late, beloved wife Muriel (Donovan). He was the cherished father of Sheila Ryan, Katherine Rowley and her spouse Thomas, James J. Ryan Jr. and his spouse Marybeth, and Patrice Ryan. He was the loving Grandfather and Great Grandfather of Amy, Jennifer, Thomas Jr., Katherine, Patricia, Muriel, Candace, Ben, Allison and Jesse. Late member of the Boston Police Department.
