Mrs. Helen O'Malley Allen died peacefully on Tuesday, February 24, after 101 years of faith-filled life. For most of those years she was a resident of Jamaica Plain, spending the last seven years of her life at the Goddard House in Brookline. For 54 years she was the loving wife of the late Charles Allen. She leaves behind four devoted children, Fr. Charles Allen, S.J., of Fairfield University, Andrea Knutson of Brooklyn, NY, Elisabeth Allen of Jamaica Plain and Lorraine Paulino of Arlington, MA. She also leaves one son-in-law, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 95 South St., Jamaica Plain, on Saturday, February 28, at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
