Harvey Rogers, age 84, passed peacefully after a long illness on December 22, 2009 at the John Adams Nursing Home in Quincy, MA. A combat veteran of WWII, Mr. Rogers fought in the Normandy Invasion and the Battle of the Bulge. He is survived by his wife, Estelle, of Farmington, CT, his daughter, Elizabeth Marrington and her husband, Larry Marrington of Farmington CT, and his son, Dr. Michael Rogers of Pembroke MA and his fiancée, Judith Skversky. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Melly and Matthew Marrington of Farmington CT and Samantha Rogers of Heidelberg, Germany. Funeral services will be private. www.lawlerfuneralhome.com
