IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Hala Karraz, 57, of Pawtucket, passed away on December 20th, 2019 with her loved ones by her side.
Hala was born in Syria to Elie and Sophie Ashkar on February 13th, 1962. She married Jihad Karraz in 1987. Hala and Jihad moved to America to start a happy family and with the birth of only child Morris in 1989 that dream came true. Hala was a supportive, caring and loving mother, wife, and friend. Hala was a fighter until the very end. She appreciated and loved all the support, prayers, and thoughts that were sent to her and her family.
Hala is preceded in death by her father Elie Ashkar, mother Sophie Ashkar, and sister Fadia Ashkar.
Hala is survived by her spouse Jihad Karraz, son Morris Karraz and his soon to be daughter-in-law Katelyn, brothers Ghassan, Paul, and Michael Ashkar, and many loved ones. She will be remembered for her kind, generous, and loving nature.
Services will be held on Friday December 27th, 2019 at Our Lady of the Annunciation Melkite Catholic Cathedral 7 VFW Parkway, West Roxbury, MA 02132. Visitation hours start at 10am with funeral services to begin at 12pm, followed by burial services at Mt. Benedict Cemetery. Following services, family and friends are welcome to return to the church hall for food and beverages.
