Mrs. Geethakumari Chelleamma, 61, passed away peacefully on the 23rd of September 2020 surrounded by her close family. Geetha was married to late Rajan Pillai and is survived by her two daughters Ranjana Nair and Renjitha Nair. She was born on May 24th,1959 in Mavelikkara, Kerala to Parameswaran Pillai and Chelleamma Pillai. Geetha will be remembered fondly as a beloved daughter, devoted wife & mother, loving sister and loyal friend.

Geetha was very passionate and dedicated about her work as the Office superintendent at BSNL Kerala where she worked for over 30 years until she retired. She is also being mourned by her former colleagues.

A funeral is scheduled for 9.00 am on 26th of September at the St. Michael's crematory. As per Hindu customaries, last rites and rituals will be performed at the crematorium. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Geetha's life. At this time, the family would like to thank the Physicians and nurses of UMass Memorial Medical center & Beacon Hospice for all their efforts and care.
