Francis A. Stewart December 3, 1960 – June 4, 2026

Affectionately known as “Frank” or “Frankie,” passed away on June 4, 2026, at the age of 65. Born and raised in Boston and Weymouth, Massachusetts, he went on to spend many meaningful years living in both Virginia and Massachusetts throughout his life.

A proud veteran, Frank served his country honorably as a paratrooper in the United States Army’s elite 82nd Airborne Division. Following his military service, he dedicated his career to hard work in the labor and food service industries.

Frank was an outgoing, kind, gentle soul with a heart of gold who was always willing to lend a helping hand. A natural jokester with a mischievous sense of humor, he loved to make people smile. He will be remembered for his iconic laugh and his deep love for his family and friends.

He possessed a true passion for music and was often found singing, playing the piano or his harmonica that he carried with him. Frank also shared an unparalleled fondness for nature and animals, bringing joy to everyone around him.

He is survived by his loving daughter, Shawna Lewis, and his cherished granddaughter, Mallory Delano, both of Virginia.

He will be greatly missed by his siblings, Charles Stewart of Massachusetts, Donna Stewart of New Hampshire, Diane Stewart of Virginia, and Pamela Leverone of New Hampshire.

He was adored by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends. Frank was predeceased by his beloved parents, Jacqueline and David Leverone; his brother, James Stewart; and his two dear nieces, Cara and Nikki.

Interment will be private and a celebration of life will be held this summer and announced at a later date.
